Question by John (Thurb) McVey: Is there a foolproof way to get rid of severe nail fungus?
Standard oral medication is unavailable for me because of potential interaction with diabetic medication, topical remedies have not worked, and yet severe nail fungus can cause a diabetic to lose fingers and toes.

try soaking in sea salt.

sea salt helps kill infection.

Question by undecided: Can toe nail fungus go away by itself? Or does it get worse if nothing is done?
I figure it’s nail fungus because it’s a solid black circle under the nail and it used to be orange-ish.

i heard it very hard to cure some people even get the toenail removed

I was told before that a nail fungus is a skin infection, but not a nail infection.

I think you should record yourself eating it, so we can all see what sort of fungus it is, and advise you from there.

Have had fungus in my big toenail for about one year. Went to dr, prescribed oral meds but insurance didnt cover it and it was way too expensive. I stubbed my toe today and the entire toenail ripped off. With the toenail off and the fungus exposed is there any treatment I can do to get rid of the fungus?

Well, they sell topical treatment for fungal infections over the counter. You should call you podiatrist and seek advice there.
